I'm newly off bcp after being on it for 16 years; I ovulated like clockwork 2 weeks after my period ended and AF is 1 day late. I know my body is going through an adjustment period right now, however can you still ovulate monthly if AF doesn't come? I mean your period is just shedding of the uterine lining but does it coincide with the release of an egg, can't have one without the other? If you can still ovulate when should I start testing for ovulation if AF doesn't show up?
