0-3 month only pacifier?

What makes these pacifiers 0-3 months? My 6 month old loves them. These are the same ones used with wubanubs. Never knew they were labeled as 0-3 months.

It’s not as thick as 3m+ pacifiers so when they get teeth/get stronger, they can chew through it making it a choking hazard. I’ve also heard of a baby folding it and being able to fit the whole thing in their mouth (another choking hazard).
They make a 3m+ soothie.

My daughter folded it up and shoved it in her mouth. Thankfully it was during the day when I saw her do it and took it out. We threw them away and switched to a more traditional pacifier

I hate these! But trust me your gonna want to find something shaped like a nipple with hard band so baby can’t swallow it

My 2 year old still uses the 0-3 month one. When she was 6 months old I bought the next size up. They are harder and she hated them.

Your baby can choke on it because it's the wrong size.

Thickness. If you buy one of each type and feel them, the older ones are harder.

It has to do with size and material strength to be considered safe. Too small or weak of a pacifier can be dangerous
