Period 7 days after trigger??🤔
This will be a long post, so any insight would be so appreciative🙇♀️
After I was diagnosed with infertility my OB at the time believed I was low on progesterone from blood work. I don't have endo or pcos and my periods are regular. She prescribed me to take it EVERYDAY. Yes you read that right...everyday. I did not question that and started using it prior to ovulation. I had to stop it to get my period. Upon refilling it, I did more research about low progesterone and found that I should only be taking it AFTER I ovulate and for only 2 weeks and stop it if I get a negative test. When I picked up my prescription refill I consulted the pharmacist and he said that taking it EVERYDAY if I am trying to conceive will not help me conceive and will do the opposite. I called my Dr and she said I can take the progesterone either way I want to... for 2 weeks after ovulation or everyday. This did not make sense but from research I decided to refill and only take it for 2 weeks after I ovulated.

I decided to get a 2nd opinion after that and change my OB. Found a new Dr, he reviewed all of my tests and did not believe my progesterone was low especially since I have regular periods. Only thing was low for my age (29) was AMH at .82
So he wrote a prescription for Clomid plus trigger shot (Novarel). Started Clomid on day 3, had 2 big follicles over 20 and thick lining on cd12. Administered the trigger on cd12 and bd 4 days in a row per Dr instructions. And then on cd20, just 7 days after my trigger I started to heavily bleed like a period for 4 days with heavy amounts of clots, super abnormal for me. I've never ever been this irregular or had a period twice in 1 month. Called my Dr and he said to hold off on things as it could be rare heavy implantation bleeding. Flash forward to yesterday at cd26 and had a negative test. I let my Dr know and he wants me to test again in 3 to 4 days and if negative start Clomid up again.
Could this irregular period could be from my past cycle from incorrectly taking progesterone? And my body trying to regulate? I'm just extremely confused...
