Mixed kid hair?!?

My son is mixed and has curly hair, he’s 1 so he is just now getting thicker and longer, when it’s wet it’s a cute curly but when it’s dry it drys straight and frizzy. Anything I can put in it to keep the curl that isn’t going to make it hard and crunchy or super greasy.

Take him to a black salon, they’ll be able to style his hair and let you know what products to use. There’s a huge range of what biracial hair looks like, feels like, needs to stays healthy, etc. My hair is 3b and I can get away with not using any hair products, it’ll just be big hair which is how I like it. If you’re not trying to take him someplace, find out his hair type and go from there. 💛

look into the curly girl method, using only conditioner for cleansing. You can also put a curl cream like miss jessies in the hair to make it soft and define curl pattern

My sister also avoids brushing out the curls after a shower.  She also advises only wash the hair as needed, or once a week.  Otherwise it dries out the hair and curls.  (My niece is also mixed)

You could trh a curl cream or a little mouse.. that's what I use on my curly hair.
