Birth Control Questions:

Hi, I’m 20 years old and a virgin, but I’m about to lose my virginity to say the least lol, but in all seriousness, I’m really thinking about getting on birth control for multiple reasons, one being, I want to make sure I’m as safe as possible from getting pregnant, and two, I’ve heard it can help with periods, acne, ovarian cysts, etc. but I’ve also heard other wise.

So my question is, has birth control helped with your acne, or made it worse?

Has your period gotten heavier, or has it stopped completely?

Do you feel better on birth control, or worse, or the same?

Do you get ovarian cysts now (if you’ve never had) or do they help with ovarian cysts? (If you’ve had) *i get ovarian cysts almost every other month- big ones that send me to the hospital when they rupture*

Any advice/tips/fun facts will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
