Breast shells

So last time around with my daughter I quit nursing much earlier than I wanted to. pumping wasn’t going well and her latch never got where we needed. I had very painful nipples that were purple all the time. So this time around I’ve already got nipple shields (that I used last time but too late as supply had dropped), am going to get a hand pump instead of electric, and am looking at breast shells since my nipples are going to be sore but also because I leaked tonnssss of milk during the night and am hoping to collect any and all I can. I saw Medela has some but I also have a couple random ones from amazon saved. Has anyone used them and recommend a certain kind?
