I don't know what to do

My bf and I have been together 8 months, he moved in three months ago. Everything's been great until last week. He lost his truck because he was behind on payments and during the time we've dated I've loaned him like $800. We've been trying to conceive and when I found out about his truck he said he doesnt want to try until things are better. Things are bad what do I do? Help him get through this or what?
