Baby shower question???

How do you let people know going to baby shower that kids really can't come cause it at a friend's house unless there is no one to watch them????

Oh the drama that comes with this is ridiculous. My sisters put “adults only” on my invite and I still have people calling me asking if they can bring them kids.. this is at a restaurant and my parents are paying per head so that’s my excuse.

Is it a co-Ed shower? Or just a woman shower? I think on the address it should be to “Mrs. Jane Smith” and they should know that’s only them invited, the people who call and ask you can politely tell them that you had to trim the list because it’s being held at a friends house and her home simply isn’t biggest enough to hold everyone.

Put on the invite only the mothers name. I had friends ask if kids were invited and I just straight up said no. Lots of friends understood since they wanted the time away!
