How common is a miscarriage after the 12th week?

I’m 16 weeks, and I’m still worried about miscarriage. I know it isn’t common but I know it can happen. I have wanted nothing but to enjoy this pregnancy but I cant seem to be able to because that fear is always sitting in my head, especially since I was told I was miscarrying at 5 weeks with this pregnancy.

I am sorry you are feeling this way. I understand because I had two missed miscarriages. Once I felt my first kick at 20 weeks my fears started to subside and are now almost completely gone at 34 weeks. Once the baby starts moving like crazy you will feel so much better. I promise!

Chances or slim however people lose babies at any stage through pregnancy . So try to enjoy your pregnancy instead of thinking the worse

I’m the same!! 14 weeks and always worried that’s gonna happen.. especially since I don’t FEEL pregnant. Google says the chance of miscarriage after 12 weeks is 3%

The only advice I can give you is to stop thinking about it. Your odds go down exponentially after 12 weeks. It’s normal to be concerned but there is NOTHING you can do.
Every time you find yourself thinking about it, do something to distract yourself. Eventually you’ll stop. Just focus on your health, take those prenatal, exercise, and try to find some mental peace. 
Pregnancy can be filled with worry and concern but try your hardest to enjoy this special time.
