Advice to first time mamas!
So most people are excited with their first baby and they are rightfully able to feel that way! It is an exciting adventure!! I say adventure because there are quite a few bumps but the journey is still fun none the less :)! My advice for you is to not assume your bump is bigger than it is especially at 4 weeks! You want to start showing as soon as you know! I was the same way! I felt like I needed to start "eating for two" at 4 weeks! But now in retrospect I wish I hadn't!! It was so unnecessary, trust me your time will come when the bump grows!! And it will be so amazing ad beautiful to feel your baby inside and all around kicking and tumbling! But don't rush it faster than it needs to be! You will most likely gain more weight than necessary that way which will be unhealthy for you and the baby! Slow and steady wins the race!
You should only gain 1 pound a month in the first 3 months! Once you get to 6 months your belly is going to grow twice it's size by the time the baby is due! And trust me once that baby is out you are going to want your body back! It is a lot easier to get it back if you start off gaining weight slow in your baby weight!
Just something I learned from my preious pregnancy :)
