Lumps

At this moment my head is swirling with thoughts. I would like advice and or hear from people’s experiences.

Here’s my long story :

One day I decided to do a self breast exam while laying in bed. I poked around my breasts instantly I found a inch thick lump in my right breast that I could hold in my fingers however I felt it on the other side of my breast as well at the same time. I pushed one off as my breast duct however the other had my concerns. I proceed to check my other breast to find another lump. The next day I sat down with my mom and told her about it and asked her to feel the sides where I felt them she instantly felt the lump on my left and pulled her hand back. However my family does have lumpy breast and my mother is cystic in her breast and Ovaries and breast cancer has appeared in my mothers side. I call and make an appointment for my OB/gyn. While in my visit she taught me more about self exams but she noticed my hive like texture along my breast and kept asking me if they are birth marks am I allergic to anything I never really noticed it to much they weren’t really red but I did get them occasionally I just said it could be my nerves. She did however locate three lumps and referred me to get a ultrasound. She also told me she thinks I also have fibrocystic breast which is vary common however that I should get a ultrasound. (This appointment was today) now I’m home sitting in bed just watching tv I go to go use the bathroom but something made me stop and look at my breast and I noticed my nipple was a dark purple... I’m calling tomorrow for my breast ultrasound since the office was closed after I left my OBGYNs office. This just has been dwelling on my mind since I did my self breast exam and needed to get it all out instead of sitting in my head. Thank you for reading and I’m sorry for how long it was.
