Anyone smart enough to know what this means??

My blood work has came back and one has an arrow pointing up so I'm assuming it's a bit high.? But what could cause it to be high??what does it mean

Just looks like high potassium. Could be diet, or could be many other things. If they are worried about it they’ll tell you I’m sure. Just don’t google it because google will probably tell you you’re deathly ill 🙄 good luck!

Your potassium is on the high end of normal - normal being 3.5-5. Sometimes diet can cause it to be high- or if you’re taking supplements with added potassium. Most of the time it’s nothing to worry about - and comes and goes with diet. The rest of your labs look good - potassium is excreted via kidneys so as long as your peeing and taking in fluid it should balance itself out. Signs of high high potassium are unusable feelings- tingling, muscle weakness, numbness. Like I said - it’s still within normal range- message me if you still have questions!

That means high potassium. Hyperkalemia. There are a lot of things that can cause this so best thing is ask your dr and dont google.
