What a difference a year makes ❤️

Heather

Last year on October 4th, my 31st birthday, we went to our first ultrasound appointment so incredibly excited to see how big the baby was and to officially get a due date. However, the baby wasn't as big as they were expecting so they scheduled me for another ultrasound a week later. And while the nurse tried to sound optimistic, I just knew. I didn't even make it to the next ultrasound and officially miscarried 3 days later.

Today, I just left my 28 week appointment of what I can only describe as a textbook pregnancy. I've only had minor complications at the beginning that have worked themselves out. Baby is measuring right on schedule, is already head down and a complete wiggle worm. My blood pressure is perfect and I passed my glucose test. (phew!) I am loving being pregnant and I'm already thinking about how much I'm going to miss feeling this little life inside of me. I can't help but sit here today and cry a little bit at how much everything has changed in just 1 short year.
