Are baby showers only for women?

We are tying to decide if we want to invite men to the baby shower? Why not? It’s awkward if it’s only me there. Thanks!

I had a co-ed baby shower, it was so nice having daddy and all the family with us. Not just women!! I think this is becoming more popular, tho some men act weird until you tell them there will be other guys lol

my sister in law wanted females only but my brother showed up after the games & stuff for food/gift opening with all of their other kids. my cousin wanted a co-ed shower. I hosted both of them. I think it's up to the couple the party is being thrown for. There really is no right or wrong way.

My mom is trying to push for women only to contain the numbers, but I refuse to budge on inviting my and my husbands male friends. Why shouldn’t they get to come celebrate the new stage of our life just because they’re dudes? They’re just as much our friends as the ladies.

I want my husband to be there but my FIL is weird about it and says he can’t be there at all til the end so now my husband thinks he can’t go lol. If it wasn’t for that I’d 100% have a co-Ed shower
