Any New Zealand mamas here?

Hubz and I are planning to move to NZ someday after we've saved up enough to pay for my tuition fees etc. 
What's the cost of living a comfortable life in NZ for a married couple? 
I mean how much would you say we'd need per month?  
I hope it's okay to ask this here.

I’m from New Zealand, I live in Auckland. It’s super expensive here for example our rent is $780 per week/4bedroom petrol is currently around $2.34per/L. I’ve heard it’s much cheaper in other cities. Do a lot of research before moving. 😇

Depends where you live. Auckland is crazy expensive. My partner and I live in Hawkes Bay. We pay $520 a fortnight in rent (which is pretty cheap for a 2 bedroom). Power is $170 a month plus Internet, petrol, food etc. We both work full time and get by comfortably. I earn about  $650 a week, partner is on a little more. Where are you currently living?
