PCOS anyone? Was you able to get pregnant on your own? If so please comment how long it took?

I was told when I was 12 that I have PCOS. It was confirmed again at 18. They told me that I wouldn’t be able to conceive since my cycles were irregular. 
I went a whole year without a period. 
At age 21 I started thinking about having children. I lost about 50lbs, my cycles started back. I used opks for 3 months and on the 4th month we got pregnant! We did not try to get pregnant but we are so happy ❤️

I was told when I was 12 that I had PCOS - got checked again when I was 19 and confirmed again. They told me it would be difficult to conceive and chances were I wouldn’t be able to without help.
Started trying at 20, got pregnant the first month. Had some difficulties during the pregnancy but my new OBGYN doesn’t thinK I’ll have too much issue conceiving #2, as long as my next colposcopy + biopsy comes back ok. (Had a pap after giving birth, came back abnormal. First colposcopy showed it wasn’t cancer but it could still form into cancer, I go back later this month to get checked again) so 🤞🏻🤞🏻

It took a year. I was put on meds and still didn’t conceive. The month I decided to not take the meds, I got pregnant.

We were ttc for a year before finding out I had PCOS. We did one round of Clomid and I am now 31 weeks pregnant! Find a good doctor that will make a plan for how to tackle infertility and be open to the idea that your journey may look different than others. Best of luck to you!

Goodluck girl!! I was just diagnosed with PCOS in August. I have two children from a previous relationship they are 6 and 8. Me and my fiance have been trying since February and still nothing:(
