My son is 6.5 weeks old and has a cold. I took him into the doctor after 24 hours to make sure it wasn’t something more serious. It’s not. Just a cold. However, twice now he has had some blood in his boogers. First time was a small streak, this time it’s more. Could be dry air, could be just sensitive nasal passages? Idk. I use a cool mist humidifier, suction out his boogers and also use saline to keep the nasal passages moist. This second time there was more red than yellow in the snot and it was more worrisome. Google is telling me it’s nothing to worry about unless it’s bright red and multiple days in a row, which it isn’t. Any moms have experience with this?
