Do you believe Christianity comes from Catholicism? Tell my why or why not:

History tells you that Catholicism is the first organized Christian religion. It is the tree trunk of Christianity. Then came the Protestant Reformation and the thousands of denominations there are today. Catholics are in fact Christian, just like Baptists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, or Pentecostal denominations are also Christians.

Catholics were the first Christians. Every other sect broke off from the Catholic Church. The first Pope, St. Peter was an apostle and he built the church. 
The great Schism in 1054 was the first break from the Church, it divided the first Christians into Roman rite Catholics and Eastern Orthodox. 
Further divisions came later, most notably Lutheranism in the mid 1500s. 
There were smaller breaks, led by individual 'heretics' regularly since the church's inception, but none gained any momentum like major Protestantism.

Well I know in the New Testament Christians are mentioned. The word Catholic isn't even in the bible so I think its safe to say Christianity came first.

It is the mother Church from which Orthodoxy and Protestantism stems from( one is a schism, the other a sever.) 
The one that fought off the heretics and heresies. The one who compiled the Christian scriptures. 
Essentially put, if The Catholic Church had the power of copyright laws before the protestant revolt, protestants would have had to come up with their own Christian Scriptures. 
So, what came first? Christianity; Institued and upheld by The Catholic Church since 33AD 🤷‍♀️
