Anyone else suffering through without nursery?

We live in a 2 bedroom and already have our 2 year old girl. We plan to add on come spring but I won't be able to actually set up a full nursery until after this little girl is born, and we move my oldest daughters room to our old bedroom (adding a master bedroom, bath and mudroom/laundry room) 😅😯😤
I'm making do with a closet in my bedroom (since she will be sleeping in there for the first four months or so anyways 😉😊)

Baby is in our bedroom. We live in an 806 sq foot historic home with 1 bedroom. Unless we want to put baby in our bomb shelter... lol

We won’t have a crib or anything because we will be buying a home soon after baby is born so I didn’t want to set one up and then take it down and put back up (I’m lazy), but babe has their own room even though they will be sleeping with us for the first few months.

Me! We have a room that is our office that we’d like to continue to use as so. We’re just going to put a dresser/changing table and rocker in there and the bassinet in our room.

Don’t feel bad. In fact, because of sids, pediatricians have now recommended that your baby share a room with you for the first 4 months or so if life. It’s safer actually. My kids being in my room as newborns brought me a ton more comfort because they were in arms reach and I could hear every small noise they made so I could react quickly if needed. Just gave me a piece of mind personally.

Ur putting baby in the closet?? Lol jk ik what ur saying. I never did the whole nursery thing. My kids always share a room with me until they were old enough to move to her sisters room. I don't do cribs because I feel they take up to much space and are expensive and unnecessary. As a newborn my kids sleep in a bassinet or something similar( I chose not to bed share) and when baby gets older they sleep in a playpin. Then I can open and close it, move it as needed just easier. Then we go either to a toddler bed or a twin bed depending on the kid and needs( I prefer straight to a twin because then I'm done with new beds for a while lol) we've never had a lot of space anyway :)

We just have one very large double bedroom and also have a 2 year old. So no nursery for this one, we’ll be moving in July so until then I’m just gonna make due with what I can. Me and daddy will probably clear some clothes from our drawers and give the new baby a couple of our drawers.  We never used a change stations before we always just change baby wherever and we bedshare, so I guess that’s all we need for the first few months.
