Idk why but in my family it feels like girl pregnancies get praised more than boys.

I had a boy my first pregnancy and nobody cared, or even came to the hospital. (Sad). Now I'm pregnant with a girl and my brothers are over here buying toys for her that she won't use for like 3 years after she's born, while my son, still has never received a gift or anything since he was born 2 years ago. I've talked to my husband that I don't really want anyone to come to the hospital and to my home after baby's born other than my mom. Idk just feel upset for my son that he's already getting pushed outta the picture because we're having a girl by my family.
