My finance hit me and then spit on me

Update !!! I finally left . He has been verbally abusive and been slapping me and I want to leave before it gets worse . I called the police and he got arrested. He is not allowed back into the apartment until I’m gone ! He does not get to keep anything that I bought him !! He has no car and no job he has been bumming off of me since he moved up here from Kansas. I finally left his ass !! It’s hard but I needed to leave before it got worse
