Polymorphism? Does anyone have it in this group?

At the very beginning of this pregnancy they found out through blood testing (bc I had previous miscarriages before) that I have something called polymorphism. They gave me a paper on it and explained it to me but I have since forgotten just exactly what it was, I take a baby aspirin a day and have had a healthy pregnancy thus far being 18 weeks and 3 days. But just curious if anyone else had this problem or if anyone can explain it better to me?

Not a doctor or an expert (have a biomed degree and used to work in a hematology lab) 
It means you’re more at risk of developing blood clots. The polymorphism is basically an error in your DNA which means your body has a harder time producing a protein responsible for dissolving blood clots (a process called fibrinolysis). 
I’m sure a genetic counselor can explain it better but hope this helps!

Ohhh!!!  This makes sense to me.  I think what it is saying is that instead of having two 4g or two 5g alleles, you have both, which makes it polymorphous. I don't know what what would mean based on this paper, but now I understand what they are saying at least. Did you get genetic counseling yet?

This is the only thing I could find pregnancy related on this. Maybe they can find it in your blood, so they listed it, but you don't actually have it yet?
