My mom and sister are throwing me a baby shower this weekend in Pennsylvania at a winery. I’m really excited to see everyone. It’s gonna be cold and the shower is outside lol. But I can’t wait to see all the women I love in one place celebrating our baby. That being said, and I’m aware I sound bratty, but I’m a little bummed no one has bought off my registry. I have spent months making my Amazon registry and am really excited about the items we picked out. But out of 150 things, only 20 have been bought and I’ve received most of those in the mail already from people who couldn’t make it. Now I know people really like buying clothes as a baby shower gift. I’m guilty of that too. It’s just too much fun lol. But I was hoping we’d get at least one big item that we need. The bassinet, car seat and base, baby monitor....has anyone else had this same experience? I’ve heard some women say their family bought them big items not on their registry. Like the stroller THEY thought was best. Or the high chair THEY preferred. Thoughts?
