No gender reveal for us yet...

Had our ultrasound appointment yesterday at 19 weeks 1 day and baby would not show us the gender! Legs were crossed and he/she was just not cooperating! :( Now we have to wait until almost 23 weeks to try again at another ultrasound. Cancelled our gender reveal get-together with family that was scheduled for Friday.

The ultrasound tech said that if don't find it at this next appointment then we don't get to know the gender before it's born! That freaks me out a little haha. She said the only reason we get to have another ultrasound is because they also didn't get a good enough picture of the heart that they needed. Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get one for just the gender.

So I guess for those of you that are getting an ultrasound soon, remember that baby could hide the gender on you like mine did!

I hear people say in this group that there are other private ultrasound places and blood tests that can be done to find out... I just don't know much about them or how to go about getting that done.

I think my husband and I would be okay with waiting if baby ultimately didn't want to show us again but there have been some people in our family and at work that have been raising a big stink about how they are against us finding out before the baby is born so that makes me want to find out more lol. I don't really want to prove the haters and their bad attitudes right.
