2 months and suddenly not napping/sleeping

Normally, we feed for 30ish mins then wake time maybe 30 mins.. wait for some yawns and start turning down for a nap. We can usually lay him down in his crib yawning and he'll fall asleep on his own.. just this week he will lay in his crib awake and kicking and grunting. Not crying at all. I left him a bit to see if he'll stop and go to sleep but didn't. I have to rock him to sleep now. Although at the same time he started sleeping longer stretches at night... going between 4-6 hours between feedings

Has this happened to anyone else? Do I need to extend wake time? Is it just a growth spurt thing? 😣😣😣
