I’m currently pregnant with me and my ex’s first child and bills have been hard. I can’t afford my rent due to health issues brought on by the pregnancy and just having a hard time keeping my head above water. My ex is doing good finically. There’s no bad blood between us and we hang out a lot. I feel bad suggesting child support to him because it seems like such a slap in the face! When our daughter is born she’ll be only with me for the first 3 months (because of breast feeding) and than with him on weekends. Is it ok to ask for child support ?
