Hi ladies,

I was just offered a job opportunity and I need some advice from fellow mamas! I am only 5 weeks and 5 days along, so I did not mention my pregnancy to the hiring company. I didn’t even know I was pregnant with the initial interview. I was offered a job to work at a blood donor clinic to both take blood and monitor the individuals after donation. This is great, however, the position requires me to travel to other cities 1-3 times a month for 1-2 nights. We leave on a bus and have to share a hotel room with a fellow staff. I’m just wondering, being pregnant, would this be too difficult? I’ve already begun experiencing nausea and am worried if it were too get worse that travelling often would be difficult. Thoughts?

I am a new graduate nurse and in my town the nursing field took a huge hit. Lots of unemployed nurses and minimal jobs, so this opportunity is a great way to gain some health care experience, plus the company does employ nurses! So I figure I may have a better chance at getting a nursing job there if I already work for the company.
