Fiancé’s mom talks to him too much??

Hey ladies! I need advice.

So my fiancé and I just got engaged and are getting married soon. We both recently just got our first home together. (He lived with his mom before this) And for the last few months since we have moved she calls him everyday, like 10 times a day. It’s pretty constant. She also always wants to come over, always wants him over there. She shows up uninvited to our house. This last weekend he and I had a cute date planned, we were at the restaurant and she called in the middle of it and he didn’t answer and she texted and said “call me emergency” so he called her and she just got mad at him for not answering his phone. There was no emergency. She kept him on the phone for like 20 minutes even after he told her we were eating.

I know she misses him but dang it’s constant! I know he’s tired of it too but we aren’t sure what he should say to get her to give him space and leave him alone a bit more without hurting her feelings.
