Bed sharing problems

FTM here I have a 7 week lo that will NOT sleep in his bassinet or crib we have tried everything we can think of to get him to sleep in them but only way we can get any rest at all is if he sleeps with us. However I am terrified the whole night that something will happen to him and wake every 5 min to check that the pillow isn’t too close to him or blanket somehow got over his head. Any suggestions on how I can get him to sleep on his own? Maybe there is something we havnt thought of! Also would he be safer using a sleep positioner in the bed to keep him at least slightly separate from us or is that just adding another risk?
