No change in cervix

Is anyone else convinced that their body just doesn’t dilate. First pregnancy (with singleton) I never dilated so went straight to csection, this pregnancy I have been having contractions since 32 weeks and still absolutely nothing!! I’ll be 36 weeks on Monday and the contractions are seriously getting longer and more painful and I feel like one of these babies’ heads are going to pop out!
