Feeding newborn

I don't know why I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this... But if anyone has some advice that'll be great. I can't stop thinking about how I will feed my second, while I'm at hospital. Breast is best is always pushed but this is my second and I've completely decided to do formula. Can I breast feed those few days I'm in hospital and then do straight formula once home? Or can I go straight to formula once he's born? Also I will be having a c section, not that that should matter I think. What are your thoughts?
