Right I know these type of conversations always have a lot of different opinions,  but no negativity please, as it will simply be ignored!😊👍....
Anyway...  Ladies, I am due baby #2 in December and thinking of speaking to a consultant for a elective c section NOT for no reason.. I understand labour is meant to hurt but on my first born 2 years ago I had a Loongg delivery not to mention very stressful, I was in a terrible state! I got to 4cm then my contractions stalled so had to walk around the hospital in agony for ages, My waters didn't break so midwife broke them with what I remember a long needle look a like thing! Which killed! I got so distressed by 6cm I ended up having the epidural aswell as gas and air and pethadine! I was in no state to even hold my child! After 23 hours in labour I had him, I had 3rd degree splits, I couldn't wee let alone walk for about 2/3 weeks I was in so much pain, I suffered with severe postnatal depression and anxiety (which is now under control) but I am getting so stressed and having anxiety attacks over the fact I will have to do this again soon with baby #2😭 I really want an elective section as I am petrified! People can call me selfish all they like! It's may not be a physical problem but I would 100% say it's effected my mental health, worrying 24/7.. Just want to avoid another birth like that😔😣😞
