Everybody getting engaged but me

Y'all, 3 of my friends recently got engaged- don't get me wrong, I'm super happy for them, but then everyone started asking me why I wasn't even engaged yet even though my bf and I have been together for almost 10 years (each couple has been dating for like 2-3 years each I believe). I really thought my bf would propose on our anniversary this year but didn't, when I told him about everyone asking when we're getting married or at least engaged he said we're not ready (financially) and he doesn't have the money for a ring right now. I understand but it just makes me a little sad since we've been together for years. We do talk about getting married one day, I just thought it would be sooner than later. Thanks for reading❤️
