I personally have to wear pads I've never been able to wear tampons and I dont like the idea of tampons anyway I know alot of people forget they have them in (God knows how) and that's how toxic shock syndrome happens.

I have to use pads. I had an issue one day with a tampon when I was in my teens. My family and I were on this long ass road trip, the only thing I had to use was tampons. Long story short I started getting massive cramps and this weird electrical shock feeling down there. I started feeling weak and tired. We stopped at a rest stop and I went into the bathroom and got it out and used toilet paper instead (my period was almost gone at this point ). The pain continued for the next few hours. Since that time I have never been able to use a tampon again, my body completely rejects them and pushes them out. So pads are all I use now.  Be very careful when using tampons, I had only had that one in about 5 hours when the pain started.
