Is my child really a terror ? Or normal boy ??

Question

My son is 4 months shy of 2. Developmentally he’s older than most other 1 year olds in the room. He’s incredibly active very observant and loves to imitate. 
Lately his teachers have a new complaint every day. 
They say he’s jumping in the classroom but it’s not the time or place for that. ( like today for example but it rained all day and they didn’t go to the gym even to run around ..)
They say he’s been taking bins of toys and dumping them. (He does this at home when he’s bored) 
They say he’s been “handsy” grabbing other friends ( which I know what they’re talking about he does it to me to get me to sit or go somewhere in the house but it’s never mean ) 
Today was his first day napping there (he did half days the first month ) I was told he napped 30 minutes then was up talking which woke up other kids ( teachers seemed annoyed ) 
He came home today and was a mess emotionally I’m sure from not sleeping but usually naps 2.5 hours for me. 
They say he spits food out on floor during lunch and asked if he has sensory issues ( he doesn’t ) 
They always say he is “active” like it’s a bad thing. 
I’m getting really upset but am I overreacting?? Are their concerns valid ?? I’m considering another school because of all this 
Should I ask him to be moved up to the next room so he’s more challenged ? The only problem is I teach the next room. I feel like this whole situation is more awkward because I just started working there. I don’t want to be “that parent” but also I don’t want my kid labeled as a problem or being set to sit down all day. 
What do I do ☹️

He sounds like a normal almost two year old to me.

I’d consider asking a supervisor or head check in and see if he’s ready. That way its an unbiased opinion. “Hey, ive been told ____ is acting out and doing x, y, and z. I asked his peds opinion / i see when i’m home that if hes acting similar he’s bored. Could these be signs of him needing something different?”
It could also be the shift of recently starting full days.

I think theure expecting too much from a almost 2 year old. 2 year olds are actice i have twin almost 2 year old boys and theyre the same

He sounds like a normal, active boy. My daughter is the same way. She is very busy and has to exercise or else she gets into things she shouldn’t.

Everything you mentioned sounds completely normal to me. 2 year olds do that and kids guide you and are "handsy" for years. I did it to my teachers well into the 2nd grade.
Not to mention, it was his first time napping there. It was a new setting. 
Hes nearly 2, he needs stimulation, he needs to play and he needs to run around. Thats what they do.

Mu daugter is the same way!! Theres nothing wrong with how he acts. He's nkt even 2 yet. Dumping toys and jumping around is how they learn. They should show him to pick the toys up and give them time to ruma round. They also learn everything by exploring and playing. I dont think he should be moved up I think tryimg to talk to the director of the center would be your first step.

This would be my daughter if she went to daycare. She has always been very active, never stops moving, and has high needs for attention.

I work in a daycare and everything would be fine with us except the napping thing because we have some bad nappers who get cranky if they don’t get a long enough nap. Plus he probably won’t nap well with them until he gets used to being in a new environment. We face the same problem with our kids that get moved up into our room.
