Boy trouble help me please !!

Okay so a while ago I posted something about me liking a guy but he had a gf so me and him would remain friends. Me and this guy are still friends but I recently learned he liked me. I dont know what to think or do because one of his friends told me this and I can’t tell if he’s joking or not. His friend also told me that the guy doesn’t like me anymore but idk what to believe. The guy I like is really sweet and treats me well. (I mean this as friends, calm down) There’s just somethings that are well weird.... for example he calls me mama and says I’m sexy. He’s also said ily to me many times. I dont know if he genuinely likes me or is leading me on. Me and him started talking when he was single and then he started dating this other girl. It wasn’t until after he started dating this girl that mine and his friendship evolved 😂. I dont know what to do anymore I really like him and everyone says I should still make a move on him and that I could take her but I have never been the person to break up a relationship. I really need some help. Please. But also almost crying cause I like him so much and if this is true I missed my chance with him and now I don’t know what to do because I wanna ask him if he likes me but I also don’t wanna get rejected and I don’t wanna make it weird between me and him. I really need advice sorry that this is so long. 💕
