Would you have done the same?

My 1 year old fell head first off of our bed onto the hardwood floor. Hit the top of her head and left a red spot and a knot. The fall was about 3.5 feet, or more. Good distance and super hard fall.

I immediately took her to the er. She acted fine afterward, no vomiting and was still conscious but I wanted to be safe than sorry.

They said if she was fine they didn’t want to do a ct scan. But without even thinking I asked them to please do one as I was worried of her skull.

Now I am seeing if all the radiation and terrified I’m going to cause her to develop cancer or leukemia. I have cried and feel sick as a dog.

Someone please tell me I did the right thing. Or am I a complete idiot? 😭
