4 weeks pp. The first 2 weeks I had bleeding cracked nipples, even small pieces of nipple missing from improper latching and gumming from my newborn. Corrected his latch and Week 4 nipples are no longer cracked or bleeding and don’t hurt per se they are just super sore and tender to touch. Like no clothing can touch them and they are off limits for hubby. When will they stop being sore???? About ready to call it quits. I made it through the bleeding, burning and cracked phase. But this soreness is on another level. Yeah yeah, I’ve done the hot/cold compressions, lanolin, currently coconut oil, gel pads and shells. Hate being so sore. Tell me it gets better. 😩😩😩 ps I will look back to your responses every time I feel like giving up. TIA ladies.
