Sounds like labor isn't far away if not already started! This happened to me with my daughter 2 days before I had her at 38+6. Good luck with everything!

If you are planning a VBAC then I would say dont stress this too much. You are early term so they wouldn't do anything to stop it while at the same time there is no indicated reason to rush it at this point either. I would take it easy today, eat a good meal, hydrate and nap when possible. There is nothing wrong with opening some communication and giving your care provider a heads up though. 
If you are planning a repeat cesarean then I would make sure to call when you can so that they can advise you as to if they feel it's urgent enough to bump up your process.  
It sounds like early stuff though. Just your body kicking into gear. It could last hours, days or even a few weeks. Take comfort/rest where you can find it. It's happening. Your baby will be here before you know it 💓
