Where do you go for sickness?

I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick and don't know if the e.r. would take me or make me go to l&d. My symptoms are diarrhea can (will not calm down, throwing up, headaches. 38+3

It sounds like a stomach bug. Maybe try an urgent care. Labor and delivery is for when you're in labor and delivering. No sense in going there. ER? Expensive, and diarrhea is not an emergency unless it's been going on several days and you're concerned you're dehydrated. Even then, an urgent care can accommodate you.

I completely agree with @vianne. It would not be fair to the other laboring moms or moms there for emergencies, for you to go to L&D over a stomach bug. It’s not something pregnancy related, your not saying your having issues with your pregnancy. Everyone gets a bug here and there even when pregnant. Get some saltines, ginger ale and chicken broth. Wait it out. No need to go to emergency or L&D what your describing is a stomach bug, why put other people in your path to get it. Especially other moms and newborns.

I don’t think it’s fair to go near other mums if you have a stomach bug. Stay at home until it passes unless you have any worrying symptoms like waters breaking or bleeding. You just have to ride stomach bugs out. I’d be so annoyed if I was in labour and people brought bugs there for no good reason.  If unsure you can always ring them or ring your GP
