Unclean? Having a period doesn’t make a woman unclean. It’s a totally normal process and is an indication of good health (unless you’re pregnant of course then no period is a good thing). I personally, wouldn’t be able to follow a religion that told me I was unclean for just being a woman. But to each there own I guess.

Uhhhhh my children still need to get fed when I’m on my period. Hubby comes home at 6, who would feed my hungry babies?? Seriously though I’ve never heard of not cooking on your period but I’m definitely using it as an excuse next time

Well then since our period is pretty much the most crappy time for us, we should be spoilt... Even if it's just to relax. I know what my next excuse is, lol! 😂😜

Hang on, I could have used my periods to not have to cook for a whole WEEK?? Lol if I didn’t cook my family wouldn’t eat. What a privilege to be able to take a whole week break once a month

I didn’t but never on the mood too tired to cook in it so I do premade to make it easier. I heard they did this in bible times and that Hindu culture still does today.
