Medical peeps - Percentile question

Hi. My three year old had his well check yesterday and he only grew an inch since his last well check (1 year and one week ago). His height percentile at two was 41 and now at three it is 5.

They may have been off by 1/2-3/4 inch, but that only takes him up to the 10th percentile.

I called this morning and they weren’t concerned being he stuck to a similar percentile for weight, he eats well and is doing well cognitively.

Should we get a second opinion? Monitor for a few months and get a second opinion if there isn’t a change in height?

Dr Google says it could be endocrine...we do have a family history of thyroid disease. My son also had a tick bite this summer (but no fever or bullseye).
