Gestational diabetes?

Question

Anyone on here failed their 3 hour test and got diagnosed with gestational diabetes? I failed my 3 hour test Thursday and won’t be able to meet with the diabetic educator until some time next week, so anyone who has this have any tasty recipes or anything of the sort ? I don’t know what to eat now as I pretty much ate whatever I wanted (in moderation) and this is my 4th baby but first time ever having gestational diabetes

I’m 33 weeks and was diagnosed with GD 3 weeks ago. The most important thing I have learned is that for your meals is to eat as much protein as you do carbs and it seems to regulate your blood sugar. I just found out I could have a spicy chicken sandwich from chick fil a because although it has lots of carbs it also has lots of protein. I still ended up way under 120. Also walking after meals helps a lot!

Me! I failed my fasting score on the three hour. I now have to test my blood 4x a day for a week then go back to the diabetic clinic. I attached the photo they gave me of what to eat. It’s seriously boring but it’s all for baby.

15gram of total carbs =1 carb count
For breakfast they suggest 2-3 carb counts
Snack 2 carb counts
Lunch 3-4 carb counts
Snack 2 carb counts
Supper 3-4 carb counts
Snack 2 carb counts

You'll want to limit carbs and sugars, so sweets, pastas, and such.  Yes, you still need to eat some, so opt for healthy carbs like wheat products. Fruits and vegetables have the low amounts of sugar.  Eat lot of protein, if you can't handle meats then try eggs, peanut butter, cottage cheese.  
GD can be tricky tho, a friend of mine could eat all the pasta she wanted but not cereal with milk.  So, you also have to learn what spikes your sugar specifically.
