AP classes in high school?

I have taken an AP class before and I’m taking two this year. I’m just wondering if AP classes actually help prepare for college, if they’re easier/harder than the class you take in college, or if they just get you the credit for the class?

Yes take as much AP as you can!! It’s way better to take a test for $98 and get hs AND college credit than it is to pay hundreds or thousands to take the college class. As for how difficult they are, I found them harder than normal hs classes, but easier than the college version. I mean for AP you have class for an hour or so 5 days a week for the whole year. In college you might get a couple hours once or twice a week for only 16 weeks 😂 I can’t recommend AP enough and I wish I had done more when I was in hs! The AP tests I did pass have already gotten me out of a few college classes it’s awesome

It’s my understanding that after taking an AP class you have to pay to take (and obviously need to pass) an AP exam to get college credit for the class. I have heard that they’re usually harder/more work than the standard high school version of the class.
