birthday

sooo my boyfriend and my birthdays are really close and on my birthday he didn’t have anything for my but I didn’t really think much of of bc it wasn’t a good time to give a present since it was at a sporting game. But on his birthday was the next time I saw him was on his birthday and I gave him is present that I had spent so much time on and was really picky about find the perfect thing for him. And he told me that he didn’t have mine yet bc it was all out at the store. So a few days later we are just on really bad terms not regarding that or. Anything but now we aren’t really talking and I kinda feel like he’s just not gonna get me anything and I would be really upset bc like how rude I spent so much time making sure he liked it and just never giving me anything... what do you think.. should I not be upset?
