Have you bought anything for the baby yet, they ask.....

SHM

My stockpile so far. Baby due in April and I plan to be prepared!

Update for those asking:

- This is my first child, but my best friend had a daughter when we were 16 and I had to step up to the plate to raise her for several years. She is 7 now. I used Pampers and desitin on her and loved them both.

- If my child is allergic or sensitive to pampers I will simply trade them at Walmart or target. Between me, my husband, my mom, dad, his mom and dad we wont have an issue with any dollar limit on returns they may impose and I plan to add diapers to my registry since they seem to allow trades or returns more simply if it was on your registry. You can also trade sizes at both of those stores should I end up with a box of one size I dont need. Nobody here has to make the trip to the store to return them for me.

- I know it's a lot of butt cream. It's great if your child didnt use a lot of butt cream. If I have extra, its not something that bothers me. Its $5 a tube. I spend more on lunch every day.

- There's nothing wrong with using disposable diapers OR cloth diapers. To each their own. Both are awesome options and should be left up to the parents of the child to be concerned with. Neither one is better than the other. People have preferences just like everything else.

- I dont plan to douse my baby in baby powder every day of their life, but if you choose not to use it for whatever reason- great. Dont use it. Nobody said you had to.

- If you think stockpiling is a terrible idea, dont do it. That's your choice. Nobody said you had to. If you are superstitious about buying baby things before the baby is here, that is your choice and I dont blame you- I am not and I enjoy stocking up for my baby in advance.

- I havent used any coupons here, I simply buy one box of diapers and wipes every week religiously. I started long before I even got a positive.

-Thanks for all the support and awesome suggestions. I will definitely keep them in mind!
