When did you announce to the grandparents?

When did you announce you’re pregnant to the grandparents and/or the people closest to you?

My husband and I allowed ourselves to tell one person each after our 8 week scan. I chose my best friend because I knew she would be the one I would turn to if something happened. We waited until 12 weeks to tell everyone else including our parents/close relatives.

My parents found out when I was 3.5 weeks as I started bleeding and assumed I was having a miscarriage after just having one less than 2 months prior. I asked my mom to pick my daughter up from daycare and keep her overnight so I could deal. Turned out it wasn't a miscarriage but I bled for 6 weeks straight and my husband told his parents when the bleeding was done (around 9 weeks) because he felt it wasn't fair for my parents to know but not his.

Told my mom first (day before ultrasound) and mil after our first ultrasound! 
We plan on telling the remainder of family after our scan on Halloween!

At the time my parents lived 3.5 hours away. My dad was and still is in a nursing home there with early onset dementia. I was only 4 weeks. The day before I told them was the 8th anniversary of my brother passing away. I wanted that weekend to have a happy memory so I told them I was expecting, due on their anniversary in November. It was just meant to be to tell them early. The remainder of the family we told between 8-10 weeks. I had such terrible morning sickness that it was hard to hide.

We toldnour parents at around 8 weeks because I was so sick they wouldnof been worried lol our close friends was around 10 weeks.

My parents right away, my in laws last week at 11 weeks. My sisters still don’t know. My best friend at 10 weeks, my step kids at 8 weeks after our first good ultrasound. A couple very close coworkers at 11 weeks. Nobody else yet. I’m 12 weeks today.
