No judgement please
I am not one of those moms that WANTS to breastfeed. I didn’t with my first but would like to try with my second. I feel more comfortable with pumping and bottle feeding, but would still like to learn how to actually breastfeed. I’m nervous of the time and patients it requires since I already have a 2 year old. I just have a few questions: should I use a nipple shield if I want to bottle feed more often than baby directly latching? Can I start pumping once my milk comes in or do I need to wait a bit? Also which formula is best to have on hand in case baby isn’t getting enough? TIA. This whole thing seems overwhelming.
