Trigger shot may be faulty

I took my trigger shot on wed last week for egg collection on fri. After having reaction to anathestic was told no eggs 😢 went for 💉 today showed nurse trigger pen & advised it looks faulty & possibly why there were no eggs. Drug company will now have investigate & fertility clinic advised that they will look after my next cycle but atm so devasted, confused, relieved & annoyed just now have to wait 2 wks before next period is approx due then wait more cycle to go through this all over again. Sorry to vent just looking for some advice on how to move forward from this.
