Side car crib?

Question

Can you make your regular crib to a side car crib or is that a whole different thing? I want to move out crib and connect it to our bed and just take one of the side panel things off and raise the bed so it’s at the same level as mine. Baby is too big to sleep in our bed with us

We did that! Works perfectly :) If it's not the right height for your bed then you can get blocks of wood to stand the crib legs on to make it the right height (make sure you drill the blocks so it's secure!) And use something like cord or rope to secure the crib to the side of your bed

We did that. Just make sure there's no gap between the crib mattress and yours

If you bought the toddler piece so the crib is secure (it needs the 4 sides to be stable & support the matte rest base) & it’s the same height as your bed. Sure. But ours didn’t work out for that - our bed was too tall.
